HJR 113 is proposed to increase Personal Property Tax Credits (Homestead Exemption Act) for Senior Citizens and the Disabled. Although this is a good gesture by our some Legislation, however, this only band-aids the real problem. The real problem is our personal property tax as a whole. West Virginian's and our Legislation need to work together to eliminate personal property tax altogether.
