Views on Obamacare

As a Apprentice practicing West Virginia Legislation theoreticals and ideas, I do not support Obamacare. I believe the public should be free to make their own choices.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OBAMACARE!
Projected Costs Now Total $1.76 Trillion

CHARLESTON, WV - Today is the two year anniversary of the signing of ObamaCare. A new report by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projects the total cost of ObamaCare, between now and 2022, is $1.76 Trillion; substantially more than the previous estimate of $900 Billion.

"Sen. Joe Manchin voted against the repeal of ObamaCare, and Gov. Earl Ray still refuses to join the lawsuit against ObamaCare," said Chad Holland, Executive Director of the West Virginia Republican Party.  "At one point, Sen. Manchin was for ObamaCare, then, during a campaign, he was against it; however, as Senator, he was for it again when he refused to vote to repeal it, and now that he's back in campaign mode, I bet he'll find some pretty words to to try to convince us he's against it again."

"Under ObamaCare, West Virginia families will pay more for healthcare, an estimated 20 million Americans could lose their employer provided healthcare, and unaccountable government bureaucrats will make decisions that should be left to patients and their doctors. The people of West Virginia deserve better, and we all deserve leaders with the courage and strength to stand up and defend the people of West Virginia from the onslaught of the Obama Administration. As every day passes, it becomes clearer that Gov. Tomblin and Sen. Manchin are incapable of that type of leadership," concluded Holland.
